Emma
HEY YALL PLZ PRAY FOR EMMA. She has appendidus. She is getting her appendix out tonight and i dont want her to be scared! Pray that she will not be scared and feel better when she wakes up! Updates will come soon.. I got to get ready to go see her! It will be like 1:00am when i go see her but its soo worth it. I am trying to be a nice sister for a long time. I have made two days!

Appendicitis is painful and scary for the family. The Schrage Family has been very wonderful through this ordeal, I have been thinking of Emma.
ReplyDeleteHere's something you may like to know (yes, again, it's Annabelle with her typing-too-much, trivia and stories):
Appendectomy's have progressed a lot in the past twenty years, since my mother first became a nurse. You used to have to be in hospital for at least a week with loads of stitches. Now it's keyhole surgery. So in our blessings, if Emma had been twenty years younger, the ordeal would have been that much more traumatic, and also twenty years ago, we wouldn't have the blog to comfort each other on!!
Would you all believe I actually can be quiet? I'm just a very fast typist and I can talk a lot around my friends!
Ellie, you are a very sweet sister. Most brothers/sisters would be like "oh yeah, shes sick. What 1am? Nah I'd rather sleep"
well that's probably a bit exagerrated, but it's not for some cases.
There are two prayers in my childrens care book that I used to, and still love. The first one is about siblings:
Our family's big, our house is small;
we're as crowded as can be.
But, Father, there's a lot of love,
That's shared here happily.
I love my mom (American spelling) and my daddy too,
They keep me safe each day.
But thank you Lord for brothers and sisters,
They have more time to play!!
And the second one is my general nighttime prayer because I think it sums things up quite nicely.
